Regional Training Swaps! Made by Sam’s Crafty Things, using Stampin’ Up! Products

Hi everyone!

Well wow! Regional was A-MAZ-ING!!! I’ve got so much information buzzing around in my head I need to carry a notebook with me everywhere to write down things I suddenly remember! The talks were fabulous as always.  As I said on Friday I will be sharing photos soon, there are a couple on my Facebook page if you want a quick fix now!In any Stampin’ Up! event for the demonstrators we do swaps where we exchange what we’ve made with each other to get ideas.  You may remember my previous post about one in October or the ones I made for convention in November.

I made two different swaps for Regional Training, firstly because I had some made already, and secondly because I had another idea that I wanted to use!

The first swap I shared with you a couple of months ago, the owl magnets.

The second idea was so I could remove some Haribo sweets out of my reach! Also because I’ve been wanting to use the ‘Tea Party’ stamp set again and thought that teamed with the ‘Happy Watercolour’ Stamp Set it would make a nice gift.

Being part of Stampin’ Up! makes me happy so the sentiment was perfect.  To add to the vintage look I used the Victoria Crochet Trim and Linen Thread as an extra embellishment.

I hope that those who swapped with me were happy with what they received, and massive Hello! if you’ve stopped by after having swapped!

Thanks for stopping by!

Spring is around the corner!

Hi everyone!

Spring is officially upon us in the UK as the clocks moved forward yesterday (yawn!)! Therefore  I thought I’d share a nice Spring themed card.  I love having flowers in the house at this time of year, it always makes me feel that bit brighter, at the moment I have some beautiful tulips.

The gorgeous stamp set ‘Happy Watercolour’ provides everything needed for this card, including the gradual ink effect on the flowers, clever huh?!

Such a lovely sentiment too, who wouldn’t love to hear that they’ve brightened up someones day.  What’s the nicest homemade card or present you’ve had from a loved one?

Don’t forget today is the last day to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration!

Let’s hear it for the Mum’s!

Hi everyone!

Mother’s Day is fast approaching in the UK with it being this forthcoming Sunday, therefore I’m sharing several variations on a Mother’s Day card using one stamp set as the focal point.

The ‘Petite Petals’ stamp set and punch came into it’s own on this card, I think they really make the wording pop out.

I wanted to try a spot of water colouring again with this card, I think it’s lovely how just using one colour can give you so many effects.

A bit more spring fresh with this one, ‘Language of Love’ can be spread further than just Valentine’s 🙂

I’ve already made my banner from the Sale-A-Bration pack so have been looking for other projects to use the different embellishments on.  Fortunately the flowers work well with the Watercolour Wonder DSP making my job a little easier! 😉

This one is my favourite out of this group, I love how the ‘So Very Grateful’ stamp set can transform a card.  Again I’ve watercoloured the image to obtain the different colour effects.

I hope you like the cards I’ve shared today, there’s plenty of more projects coming up in the next few weeks, watch this space 🙂
