Triangle Box

Hi everyone

Something a little different from me today, I was messing around with some Easter Eggs I bought and knew I wanted to make a box for them.  Yes I’m a little late putting this up but it’s perfect for little gifts too!

I hope you enjoy this VIDEO (I know! First video in 3 years!) please do let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Easter treats

Hi everyone!

I know I’m early with this one but I thought it would be good to get those creative ideas in action sooner rather than later!

I wanted to make something different to give to my friends for Easter this year as most of them are like me and watching the waist line so I thought it would be a good idea to have small treats available rather than those tempting big eggs that lurk on all the supermarket shelves!

The first gift is also perfect for small children who you don’t want to be on a sugar high for the festivities! They’re perfect for hanging from spring decorations as well such as tree branches (oh just given myself an idea for my Easter table!)

I will admit I did sneak a couple of mini eggs as I was making these, I had to check that they were okay for consumption obviously!!!

You can see better in the above photo that the treat cups hold 4 eggs in each, not many but enough to enjoy for a little Easter treat 🙂

I had the idea of treat jars in my head after making my weight loss jars (ironic I know!) These will be going out to my friends, there’s enough chocolate in there to keep them chocolate fixed for the bank holiday weekend at least!

The grass effect I achieved by patiently (!) cutting the card stock each snip at a time but the same effect (and quicker!) can be achieved with the ‘Fringe Scissors’.

The ‘Eggstra Special’ stamp set is so cute for these projects and again work well for children and the big kids 😉  How these jars are lasting in my vicinity without being eaten I don’t know!

I hope you like my early Easter crafts!

Thanks for stopping by!
