So very grateful for water colour

Hi everyone!

Today’s project I’ve been itching to do since I saw a similar project cased at convention.  I loved water colouring as a child so to have an opportunity to start again has made me very happy!

The Spring / Summer catalogue is full of fantastic stamps, and I knew as soon as I saw the set ‘so very grateful’ I had to add it to my collection! It’s perfect for water colouring and is exceptionally versatile, I can’t wait to show you more projects using it.

I originally finished the card without the black inked images but it looked like it was missing something, I really like the way they brought the water coloured image to life, making it really stand out.

What do you think? It’s great when a childhood hobby that you loved can be utilised in your adult life isn’t it! Using water colour and water colour paper has brought back hundreds of memories of all the paintings I used to hassle my parents with making them put them on the fridge! Might actually send this card to them to say thank you for doing that!!

Thanks for stopping by!
